Sound Annex lets you create your personal music artifact

Music is a lot of fun and brings people together. Music buffs, especially people who like to pull together and make their own collection, will absolutely love this gizmo. It compiles and plays any collection of tracks selected. Moreover, as it turns out, most people are hooked to olden vinyl records but at the same time like present day gizmos like iPods and digital players also. So, designer Bartos Scharmach came up with the idea of integrating old age musical units with digital pieces of today.

SOUND ANNEX

The result was a savvy contraption, dubbed the Sound Annex, around which a bunch of people can hang loose or fashion a musical experience of their own. The arrangement basically comprises a small booth, seating cushions and few umbrella canopies. There is a board holding all the basic information while the track-list is displayed on the front side of the booth. The powerful sound system blasts off music into the ambient area, where people usually sit, relax and hang out.

Selecting tracks and browsing is really easy with the fluid and circular navigation area. You can select and collect tracks of your choice using the individual music cards and after consulting with the knowledgeable staff. Each track is identified with a scan code, a bucket holds all the temporary cards while the scan unit plays them. This is a full musical setup that you can wrap into a closed box after use. You can unfold it anywhere; at a park or in your house. You will love lounging and celebrating around the piece at parties and gatherings. The fact that you can customize your very own personal artifact with it is simply outrageous.
